The third time that music came into Ramon Gener's life was the definitive one: after spending his childhood learning piano at the Barcelona conservatory, and after several years working as a baritone, he finally discovered that the true value of music, and of culture in general, was in sharing it with others. He then began his career as a music and art disseminator. After directing the program 'Ópera en tejanos' for Catalan public television, in 2015 he made the leap to the screens of 50 countries as presenter and director of 'This is Opera', a format produced by Televisión Española to show the public, in a fresh and innovative way, the ins and outs of opera. Musician, humanist and writer, for Ramón Gener “everything in music and art is emotion”. In 2017, his contagious passion for these two disciplines led him to launch the documentary series 'This is Art', a journey through the history of Art through emotions. Ramon Gener is a regular contributor to the radio programs 'Las mañanas de Pe a Pa' on RNE and 'Versió RAC1', on the Catalan radio station Rac1. He is also the author of the books 'Si Beethoven quedará escuchame' (2013) and 'El amor te hacer inmortal' (2016). He is currently working on a new project: the launch of the miniseries '200', a four-episode programme aimed at celebrating and commemorating the bicentennial of the Museo del Prado. #Let'sLearnTogether
