I miss Jacques François very much. Apart from being a stunning actor, he was a charming man – as this TV footage proves – and a very dear friend. I talk about him a lot in my memoirs – RIRE EST UNE FÊTE (Editions Michel Lafon) – because I have dozens of memories with him where he was a delight with his offbeat behavior, which amuses every time. This excerpt from a Guillaume Durand show for the release of LES ACTEURS, by Bertrand Blier, shows us once again his humor, his irony, his admirable sense of derision. The image quality is poor because the TV did not record in 4K at the time, but the anecdote remains hilarious.
