In the foothills of Jirisan Mountain in Sancheong, Gyeongnam Province, there is a hermitage guarded by a single nun? Munsuam Temple is usually visited by a steady stream of believers and temple stay participants, but when the cold winter comes, it becomes an isolated and unoccupied place. The only friend of Monk Giyeong, who guards the hermitage in the winter, is his dog Bori. Although Monk Giyeong has been a monk for over 30 years, he lives a self-sufficient life in winter in the isolated and unoccupied place! He carries firewood, cuts it, picks cabbages from the garden, and even prepares meals. The monk does not care about whether he serves the Buddha or guards the hermitage, but simply lives.
