About :

Located in the north of South America and the only country on the continent where the native language is English, Guyana was the 175th country on my world tour. Like other former British colonies in the Caribbean, the country, which has a large majority of its population of Indian and African origin, has similarities with regional countries such as Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago in terms of economy, but it has always surprised me with the surprises it contains. It is possible to say that there is not much touristic information about the country, which lags far behind other Caribbean countries in terms of tourism, especially because the coastal areas are painted in shades of brown due to the rivers carrying the rich mineral soil of the Amazon. Guyana, which is covered with virgin rainforest and whose mountainous interior is still not very well explored, is a country that constantly leaves you in the dark about what to expect. With its virgin rainforest, magnificent tepuis and majestic waterfalls, it has always surprised me throughout my stay there. Let's discover the unique nature of this little-known country together. -- Welcome to the beautiful country of Guyana, located in South America, and today we'll be exploring its capital city, Georgetown, the bustling Stabroek Market, and the majestic Kaieteur Falls. Georgetown is a vibrant city known for its rich cultural history and stunning coastline. We'll start our tour by visiting the famous Stabroek Market, one of the busiest and most colorful markets in the region. Here, we'll see vendors selling everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to clothing and souvenirs. We'll also get a taste of local cuisine, including delicious seafood and traditional Guyanese dishes like pepperpot and roti. Next, we'll head to the iconic Kaieteur Falls, one of the world's most stunning natural wonders. We'll fly over the lush rainforest and see the 741-foot waterfall in all its glory. We'll learn about the legends and myths associated with this majestic landmark and the importance of preserving it for future generations. Join us on this unforgettable journey through Georgetown, its Stabroek Market and Kaieteur Falls, and discover the unique beauty and culture of this amazing country. 00:15 Stabroek Market 03:05 Queenstown Jama Masjid 04:05 Seashores 07:40 Whirling flight to Kaiteur 17:18 Kaieteur Falls #guyana #travel #traveler #caribbean
