Ramsar Marble Palace was initially used as the summer residence of Reza Shah Pahlavi and then Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi and the royal family. In addition to the royal residence, this palace was also a place for holding ceremonies and official meetings. After the Islamic revolution, this palace became a public place and today it is known as one of the most important tourist attractions of Ramsar. For some time, one of Mohammad Reza Shah's English friends stayed in this palace, and because of this, changes were made in the bathroom and sanitary service.
