Today, March 21, 2021, marks exactly 100 years since the founding of Shimano. The world's largest manufacturer of bicycle components of various levels, from Tourney to XTR Di2. Today, Shimano has become a household name for good components, known even outside the cycling community. The Japanese component manufacturer began its journey with a small room, 40 sq.m. and the production of Freewhell, which require great precision and complexity of production, and then planetary hubs, derailleurs, shifters, cranks, carriages, pedals, wheels, spinning rods, shoes and electric motors were added to the range.
