Niccolò Banfi, explorer and photographer, tells us about his extraordinary adventure: 90 days in the Pacific Ocean aboard an early 20th century sailing ship. A unique journey that saw him depart from Easter Island and, among other things, led him to a close encounter with humpback whales, to meet the descendants of the Bounty mutiny in Pitcairn and to experience first-hand the spread of plastic in the Pacific. In this video we will see the environmental projects conducted by communities in the South Pacific to fight against warming and pollution of the seas and what it means to live on a sailing ship for three months, a journey that combines exploration, nature and environmental awareness.
