The Ombrega observatory refuge is located in the valley of the same name, in the upper Val Marcia, with a beautiful view of Legnone and Legnoncino. While this mountain pasture was once dedicated to the grazing of livestock, today we can find a beautiful refuge-observatory, managed by the Tantardini family since 2016. Near the refuge, near Sasso Dirotto, you can admire the great Faggio del Piancone, one of the large monumental trees in the area.
