In today's video, I want to share with you a centuries-old wisdom: bone broth. With it, you have direct access to countless nutrients that your body needs to have a better and much healthier life. Simple and delicious recipe for homemade bone broth: Ingredients: 1.5 kg of beef bones (they can be bones with marrow, neck, tail or other bones with cartilage) 2 large carrots, cut into large pieces 2 celery stalks, cut into large pieces 1 large onion, cut into four 4 cloves of garlic, cut in half 2 bay leaves 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (helps extract minerals from the bones) Salt to taste Enough water to cover the bones and vegetables Preparation: 1. Roast the bones (optional, but recommended for a deeper flavor): Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown. 2. Prepare the stock: Place the roasted bones (or raw bones if you don’t roast them) in a large pot or slow cooker. Add the carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns, and apple cider vinegar. Add enough water to completely cover the bones and vegetables (about 4-5 quarts of water). 3. Cook the stock: Bring the pot to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for at least 12 hours. For a more intense flavor, you can cook for up to 24 hours. If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 24 hours. Check occasionally during cooking and add more water if necessary to keep the bones covered. 4. Finish the stock: After the cooking time is up, strain the stock through a fine sieve or muslin cloth to remove the bones and vegetables. Season with salt to taste. 5. Store: Let the broth cool completely and transfer to glass or plastic containers. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Tips: You can add other vegetables and herbs to the broth, such as leeks, parsley, thyme, or ginger, for flavor variations. Do you have a question to ask? Leave it here in the comments!
