Hey :-) We are still on the island of Rugia. In this episode we are taking you to Binz, a resort town. Here I especially wanted to see a certain building on the beach. It is a lifeguard tower, I mean it used to be, today as I checked it is the property of the registry office and weddings are held there. A very characteristic building in a modernist style. It looks amazing and futuristic against the sea. In Binz there is a beautiful pier, promenade and of course white architecture. The film also includes cutaways from Sellin. We regret that we did not return there again. We arrived in Sellin in the evening, a town different from all the others on Rugia. The streets branched up and down, which gives it a mountainous character. Beautifully lit promenade, white resorts and pier... the most beautiful we have ever seen. Maybe it was the time of day and this warm evening that made such a positive impression on us. The pier and here was my surprise, to get there you have to go down very steep stairs, what's more, there is a special cable car-lift on the side. On the pier there is a beautiful restaurant, and at the end a diving capsule. I decided to make a roll with herring, such a popular snack in these areas. I learned that the sauce and matijas are the secret of this roll. I bought all the ingredients and ... the roll was delicious.
