The amount of LNG that needs to be unloaded is a whopping 130,000 KL (65,000 tons), and the situation is that they have to spend 24 hours a day just unloading. They have to check frequently to ensure safe unloading, so there is no time to rest. However, since it is work to deliver energy essential to life, the workers willingly work hard and sweat. Meanwhile, another LNG production base is under construction. Here, the roof-raising work (Roof Air Raising) of the LNG storage tank is in full swing. Roof-raising work refers to cutting-edge technology that raises the roof installed on the ground by about 45 meters using internal pressure. The LNG storage tank roof is 90 meters in diameter and weighs over 1,000 tons, so the usual method of work is dangerous. That's why this technology was used. Even while the roof is being built, confirmation and additional welding for accurate process are essential! If you make a mistake, the roof may collapse and you may have to start over from the beginning, so they are very careful.
