Today's interviewee is Dr. Micael Hamra, co-founder of Medway, graduated from the Catanduva School of Medicine (FAMECA) and completed his residency in Clinical Medicine at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP (HC-FMUSP). During his residency at USP, Mica realized that doctors needed support to prepare for residency exams in São Paulo, and from there, he founded his first company. As the business grew, he had to make the difficult decision to leave the medical field to focus on his own company, a dilemma that many entrepreneurial doctors face at some point in their professional careers. In this conversation, we talk about medical education, the career dilemmas we face in our professional lives, and, of course, business, entrepreneurship, and innovation in healthcare.
