Fish from the seas colored by myth have been presented to nobles in the capital since ancient times. In search of lustrous red sea bream to decorate "special days," a fishing line is cast from a pleasure boat. Nozomi, a talent who appears on a local fishing program in the Kansai region, takes on the challenge of lure fishing, a type of fishing lure derived from traditional Japanese fishing methods, called tairaba. Including her private time, she goes fishing 150 days a year. Her strong curiosity has allowed her to improve her skills to the point where she can catch large fish in a short period of time.
