I want to be notified when the next class of the sound installation course will be ???????? https://bit.ly/Cadastro-Som --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The car is nothing more than a small room, and if we want to hear perfect sound inside we need a perfect space to place the speakers and this space still needs to offer good acoustics and that's where the challenge begins because not all cars have these two things. But I know some tricks to solve this and I'm going to share them with you now. First of all, we must keep in mind that a speaker performs much better if installed in a speaker box and if we can transform the car door into a speaker box we solve this issue. When analyzing a car door we notice that there are several holes and perforations in its structure and these prevent the isolation of the front and back of the speaker. Insulating the front and back of the speaker in the car door turns it into a 20-liter speaker box, which is perfect for the speaker's mid-range and even low-frequency performance. To do this insulation, we can use the same asphalt blanket used to insulate holes in roofs, as it has a high, sticky side and another side with a chrome-colored plastic film that prevents the passage of sound and heat, and also provides greater rigidity for the door's bodywork. Start by placing the blanket on the inside of the door's external panel, but only in places where there is a large extension of smooth bodywork. After that, close all the holes in the door's internal paneling, and you will have a practically insulated speaker box. The second aspect that influences the speaker's good performance is the position in which it is fixed to the door. In addition to being extremely firm, this position should be as close as possible to the door lining so that the sound is projected more clearly into the car. To do this, I recommend making MDF wall lights so that the speaker is higher and closer to the ceiling. Since MDF is very rigid, it provides a solid surface for the speaker to be perfectly fixed. Follow these tips and I'm sure that the sound produced by your or your client's car door speakers will have a much better performance. I'll stop here and come back next week with another incredible tip about car audio. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LICENSE CERTIFICATE: Envato Elements Item =================================================== This license certificate documents a license to use the item listed below on a non-exclusive, commercial, worldwide and revocable basis, for one Single Use for this Registered Project.
