Our Desert Island Adventure in Baa Atoll, Maldives When we decided to spend a holiday in the Maldives, we knew that white beaches and crystal clear waters awaited us, but the excursion to a desert island in Baa Atoll exceeded all our expectations. My husband, my two children, Matteo, 5, and Giorgia, 11, and I were ready for an adventure that would give us unforgettable memories, organized by our hospitable guesthouse. Departure for the Adventure The day began with a delicious breakfast at our guesthouse. Tropical fruits and local sweets gave us the energy we needed for our excursion. Shortly thereafter, the guesthouse staff accompanied us to the port. Already during the boat ride, we were fascinated by the turquoise waters and the marine life that could be glimpsed beneath the surface. Arrival at the Desert Island After about 15 minutes of sailing, we arrived at the desert island. The view that awaited us was breathtaking. The silence was broken only by the gentle lapping of the waves and the singing of sea birds. The island, small and untouched, seemed to have come out of a dream. Exploration and Discovery Matteo and Giorgia, enthusiastic and curious, immediately started exploring. My husband and I enjoyed the view, walking along the shore and admiring the wonders of the place. Lunch on the Island After the snorkeling activity, we returned to the beach where a delicious picnic lunch prepared by the guesthouse was waiting for us. It was a perfect moment of relaxation and connection with nature. Return to the Guesthouse With the sunset painting the sky with spectacular colors, we left the deserted island to return to our guesthouse. During the return journey, we were all a little tired but extremely happy.
