From January to April 1993, 58 1111 ex. 58 311 stayed in Thuringia and the Ore Mountains for various scheduled steam operations. As this locomotive was also stationed in Greiz, the Baden G12 paid a short visit to the Greiz site on April 2, 1993. The locomotive was quickly switched to the Class 220 circuit, so that in the early evening the Ng 63273 reached Zwickau station, as the next day 581111 was to remain in scheduled operation in the Aue area for 4 days. The Greiz locomotive driver Roland Beck, who was assigned to pilot duty, naturally did not miss the opportunity to take the controls in his own hands. And so the trip to Zwickau became a lasting experience.
