Your garden whisperer Apple poppy seed marzipan spread 1 kg apples 200g marzipan 100 ml Calvados 50g ground poppy seeds 150g sugar 1 ½ tsp lightly heaped agar agar 1 lemon juice and zest 250 ml apple juice 1 packet vanilla sugar 1 pinch of tonka bean Soak the poppy seeds in Calvados to soak them up well. Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes and bring to the boil gently with the apple juice. Meanwhile, grate the marzipan and add to the apples together with the sugar, agar agar, lemon juice, vanilla sugar and a pinch of tonka bean. Simmer everything until soft and then puree finely. Finally, add the soaked poppy seeds and simmer the mixture for a further 3 minutes. Pour the mixture into jars and simmer at 90 degrees for 30 minutes. Apple mouth pieces 250 g quark 100 ml rapeseed oil 1 pack vanilla sugar 110g sugar 300g flour 10g baking powder 3-4 apples rum raisins to taste Knead the quark, rapeseed oil, vanilla sugar, sugar, flour and baking powder into a smooth dough. Cut the apples into small cubes and carefully fold them into the dough together with the rum raisins. Form the dough into about 12 small balls, place on a baking tray and bake at 170 degrees circulating air until golden brown. Dust with a little powdered sugar while still warm and enjoy immediately.
