Andrés Martín has a degree in science, a master's degree in business administration and a doctorate in psychology. After patenting the first vaccine for fish in Spain and creating a start-up, he worked internationally in the business world for 17 years, during which time he received the gold medal from the Chamber of Commerce on two occasions. Andrés wanted to change his life and trained in Stress Reduction at the Medical Center of the University of Massachusetts (USA), as a Certified Mindfulness-MBSR Instructor. After several successful activities in the world of mindfulness – such as psychologically advising the team of the boat “Desafío Español” in the America's Cup regatta – he founded the Esmindfulness Institute in Barcelona, where a hundred Mindfulness courses are taught per year to more than 2,000 people in an open and corporate format. In addition, Andrés is the co-author of a dozen scientific studies and the author of several books on Mindfulness and a novel. He also gave a famous talk at TEDx, with nearly two million views.
