That is why today I will tell you my opinion with 5 THINGS I LOVE OR HATE IN BATHROOMS, maybe my choices will help you. 5 THINGS I HATE IN BATHROOMS: ITEM 1 – BATHROOM CABINET – Regardless of whether it is a simple bathroom, a decorated bathroom, a modern bathroom, the fact is that a bathroom cabinet is always very useful, we have the bathroom cabinet that is under the bathroom sink and we have the cabinet that is above the bathroom counter. This bathroom cabinet can be overlay or built into the wall. I don't like those very small models that look a bit lost on the counter, nor models that are a little bigger than the counter. I prefer cabinets that are the same size as the counter or that extend above the toilet to the shaft; ITEM 2 – SHELVES – This is a solution to be used under the bathroom counter instead of a bathroom cabinet. It's a good way to save on carpentry but it leaves the items more exposed and subject to dirt from the toilet flushing. We usually use towels and toilet paper as replacement items on these shelves. In these cases, it's necessary to use a metal siphon instead of a plastic one; ITEM 3 – PAGE – I don't like it when the floor has a lot of cutouts or some pagination like herringbone or fish scales that require a lot of cutouts and waste. I prefer to start the pagination at the bathroom entrance by throwing the cutouts behind the toilet and counter, and then continue this pagination inside the shower and on the walls. I prefer to start from the top down, leaving the cutouts for the floor. ITEM 4 – LED STRIP – Lighting can greatly enhance a decor or even make it too heavy and confusing. Too much LED strip and LED profile can do this. You have to use a niche for the illuminated bathroom, a mirror with LED, LED strip above and below the mirror, on the ceiling, on the walls, on the plasterboard. I prefer to leave only frontal lighting because it is very functional; ITEM 5 – BATH – This is an item that does not fit into my routine. It would definitely just take up space in my house. Now, 5 THINGS I LOVE IN THE BATHROOM: ITEM 1 – BATHROOM MIRROR – A mirror in the bathroom is one of the simplest items to use and that brings great emphasis to your decor. If you use a wooden frame, it will make your bathroom chic. There are square mirrors, round mirrors, adenet mirrors, rectangular mirrors, organic mirrors and many more bathroom mirror options. If you use a frame with loose mirrors, it will already improve your bathroom a lot; ITEM 2 – SHOWER ENCLOSURE – Whether it is a ceiling-high shower enclosure or a traditional shower enclosure, tempered glass can be very dangerous if used, as it can break and injure people taking a shower. The ideal is to use a shower enclosure with laminated glass or to use a safety film on the glass to catch the glass shards if they break; ITEM 3 – SCALE – A bathroom window is very important for removing steam from the shower, so even though exhaust fans are good, I prefer a window to have natural light and natural ventilation. I prefer this window inside the shower enclosure, even if I want to use a ceiling-high shower enclosure; ITEM 4 – FAUCET – I prefer a countertop faucet or tabletop faucet, as maintenance is simpler than a wall-mounted faucet, but there are tabletop faucets used with countertop sinks, carved sinks, built-in sinks, and there are faucets that are placed in the sinks themselves, such as semi-recessed sinks and overmount sinks; ITEM 5 – ACCENT WALL – I don’t like a completely monochromatic bathroom, I prefer to have an accent wall, it could be a wall inside the shower, it could be a wood-like porcelain tile contrasting with a marble-like porcelain tile.
