No matter what diet you are on, your usual side dishes will almost certainly have to be banished from your diet. So, many people wonder, after saying goodbye to mashed potatoes with nutmeg, boiled rice, pasta and bread, what's left? Fortunately, we have a lot of delicious and healthy low-carb vegetables to help us out in these times! That's why I wanted to collect 5 side dish ideas that I think can be helpful to all dieters! I honestly think that these side dishes can be very useful for those who follow a low-carb, low-carb or ketogenic diet. But I don't necessarily want to please only dieters, but anyone who is open to getting more vegetables into their body. It will definitely have a good effect on them in the long run! :) Since I know a lot of delicious ketogenic side dishes, I'm planning a few more parts of this mini video series. There will be more hot keto side dishes and cold ones, because often a fresh salad is the best solution! :) 1. Grilled zucchini ingredients for 2 servings: -2 smaller zucchini (approx. 40 dkg) -dried basil and oregano -salt -approx. half a dl. extra virgin olive oil (or any fat) -I recommend a cast iron pan, it browns very well in it! Of course, if you don't have one, you can also prepare it in another. 100g of raw zucchini contains approx. 2.5g of carbohydrates, so if you make 2 servings from the above amount, you will have approx. max 5g of carbohydrates in 1 serving. :) 2. Stewed purple cabbage ingredients for 4 servings: -half a head of purple cabbage (this is exactly 60 dkg) -approx. half a dl. extra virgin olive oil (or any fat) -salt, pepper, ground cumin seeds -approx. quarter dl vinegar -3 tbsp. erythritol -1 dl water 100g of raw purple cabbage contains approx. 5.3g of carbohydrates, so if you make 4 servings from the above quantity, then there will be approx. max 8g of carbohydrates in 1 serving. :) 3. Steamed broccoli ingredients for 3 servings: -1 head of broccoli (this is 35 dkg here after I cut off the torso) -5 dkg of butter -half dl of water -salt 100g of raw broccoli contains approx. 4g of carbohydrates, so if you make 3 servings from the above quantity, then there will be approx. max 4.6g of carbohydrates in 1 serving. :) 4. Sautéed mushrooms ingredients for 2 servings: -30 dkg of mushrooms -ground thyme and rosemary -approx. half dl. extra virgin olive oil (or any fat) 100g of raw mushrooms contains approx. 2.3g of carbohydrates are found, so if you make 2 servings from the above quantity, then there will be approx. max. 3.5g of carbohydrates in 1 serving. :) 5. Creamy garlic spinach Ingredients for 2 servings: -40 dkg of spinach -approx. half a dl. extra virgin olive oil (or any fat) -2 v 3 cloves of garlic -salt, pepper -approx. 10 drops of fresh lemon juice -half a dl of water 1 dl of heavy cream 5 dkg of cheese (negligible) 100g of raw spinach contains approx. 1.8g of carbohydrates, so if you make 2 servings from the above quantity, then there will be approx. max. 3.6g of carbohydrates in 1 serving. :) I haven't made the macros yet, but I will try to make up for it in the near future. :) When the next part is ready, I will put the link to it here. :) What diet side dish do you like and why?
