A new station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line, Sakuranamiki Station, opened on March 16, 2024 (Reiwa 6). In conjunction with this, the timetable was revised, with express trains now stopping at Kasugabara Station, and express trains now stopping at Hirao and Takamiya Stations. The station was also renamed from Shikenjo-mae Station to St. Mary Hospital-mae Station. At Chikushi Station, the train will depart after swapping with a train parked on the opposite side of the platform.
