The first field trip site in 2021 is Caesarea Philippi. It was called 'Paneas' because there was a 'Temple of Pan' there. Therefore, the local name is 'Banias'. The first video provides a general explanation of Banias National Park, and the tour begins at the place where the excavated materials are collected next to the parking lot at the entrance to the Hermon River Spring. The Hermon River Spring is the second source of the Jordan River. And in front of the Pan Cave, a temple for 'Caesar Augustus' was excavated in 1988. Who built this temple? Was it Herod the Great or Herod Philip? We analyzed it with Josephus' writings. And in 2020, when there were no visitors due to COVID-19, this temple was additionally excavated. A special altar was excavated through this excavation. What does this altar mean?
