Endless chances - and still lost: SV Waldhof Mannheim lost 0:1 to SC Freiburg II despite a decent performance. At the end of the 27th matchday in the 3rd league, SC Freiburg II welcomed the Waldhof Mannheim team. In the first half of the southwest duel, the guests from Mannheim had significantly more chances, but the only goal was scored by the hosts from Freiburg. Mika Baur served a free kick to Maximilian Breunig, who took the ball in a great way and scored to make it 1:0 (10th minute). Marcel Seegert came too late with his rescue attempt. Waldhof Mannheim dictated the game in the second half as well. Coach Marco Antwerpen's team created chance after chance, but the Palatinate team lacked efficiency in finishing. Terrence Boyd had the best chance to equalize in the 50th minute, but SC keeper Benjamin Uphoff defused the attacker's shot in a great way. In the end, it remained 1-0 for Freiburg, who were able to celebrate their first home win of the season. Waldhof Mannheim, on the other hand, suffered their third defeat in a row. +++ 3rd league +++ Pure football.
