About :

Journalist and documentary maker Sinan Can was six years old when he visited the Africa Museum. It was the first museum he ever entered. A year later, number two was the Biblical Open Air Museum, the current Museumpark Orientalis. Both places are now the subject of the documentary 'Unknown Stories' in which he embarks on a quest for religion, cultural exchange and meaning. In the film, Sinan asks himself: what can you still show in this time? The mini-documentary was made in the context of Unknown Nijmegen, in which various makers were asked to tell an unknown story from Nijmegen's history. They do this in collaboration with various heritage locations and in a form of their own choosing. More information at: ongekendnijmegen.nl.
