The ÖBB Taurus 1116 246 was given a special sticker to mark the 50th anniversary of the Austrian Armed Forces in 2005. The official acceptance test of the new locomotive took place on the Western Railway between Linz and Schwanenstadt. Braking tests and a running quality measurement at 250 km/h were carried out.
