On Monday evening, April 8, 2024, a 380 kV transformer weighing around 300 tons was transported by heavy transport from Braunau am Inn station to the AMAG truck entrance. The transformer was delivered by rail the day before and will be used in APG's new substation in Wagenham near Pischelsdorf. The 81-meter-long transport covered the first 3.9 kilometers from Braunau station to the parking lot at AMAG in just over three hours. The remaining approximately 29 kilometers via Gundertshausen and Aschau are planned for April 9, 2024.
