Thanks to an unprecedented partnership between the Lens Hospital Center and the Louvre Conservation Center, the Neha mummy benefited from a scanner that allowed the museum teams to identify her age, her state of health at the time of her death, the embalming techniques as well as the presence of amulets to protect her in her eternity. This fruitful collaboration bringing together several scientific entities (curators, doctors, radiographers, restorers, etc.) made it possible to use today's technology to benefit research on the Louvre's Egyptian antiquities.
