When it gets cold, foggy and dark outside, it's good to bring a little coziness and warmth into the living room and parlor. Martin Reiter is doing this again this year with his show "Advent im Stoffelhäusl", which can be seen on TirolTV on Advent weekends. The Tyrolean local historian, known for numerous books, radio and television shows, has also invited guests. These include musician Peter Obrist, Dr. Karoline Knitel - President of the Vincentian Communities, State Fire Chief Jakob Unterrainer and Franciscan Father René Dorer. Reiter's wife and master confectioner Martina conjures up Christmas baking and there are also contributions from the Krampus Museum in Kitzbühel, about monastery work from the Zillertal, from the Wörgl nativity scene father Seisl and memories of the spread of the Christmas carol "Silent Night" by Tyrolean singers 200 years ago. Musical guests in the rustic, 540-year-old Stoffelhäuslstube in St. Gertraudi include the Unterinntal Christmas brass band around Peter Obrist, the Hollaus guitar trio, the choir pur, the Vierklee group and Edlholz. Can be seen on the Advent weekends on TirolTV on the cable network, on UPC (program slot 237), Simpli TV or via satellite on R9 Austria.
