In 1974, LEW Hennigsdorf delivered three prototypes of the new 250 series to the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The heavy six-axle freight train electric locomotive was also supposed to be able to pull passenger trains. A total of 270 series locomotives were built between 1977 and 1984. In the joint numbering plan of DB and DR, the distinctive electric locomotives were given the series designation 155. In the meantime, many machines have been retired or sold to the locomotive rental company Railpool. Currently, the DB no longer owns any of its own locomotives of this series. See the "energy container" at private companies as well as the use of rental locomotives at the DB. Enjoy watching. More here: https://www.ekshop.de/dvd-cd/dvd/stol...
