Hello! Today #21 episode of our podcast, and in it a joint conference of fathers: Adam Szustak OP and Tomasz Nowak OP, recorded during the 26th Weekend Full of Grace on Mount St. Anna. This is the well-known series “About bones in the throat, or making life difficult for Christians”. Fathers return to the fragment from the first book of Samuel that was discussed earlier. Let us recall that it tells a story that is not only an interesting biblical narrative, but also a deeply reflective lesson about human nature and our relationships with God. Particularly interesting is the fragment in which young Samuel hears the voice of God, and Eli, the priest, is initially unaware of what is happening. This story encourages us to reflect on the different attitudes that we can adopt towards God and our own weaknesses. And this is exactly what the Dominican fathers did.
