One of the most important, but undeservedly neglected railway bridges in the country. This is the railway connection of Csepel Island with the national main network. The entire railway traffic of the Csepel Free Port, the Metrans Danubia container terminal, as well as many industrial plants, takes place through this, and currently this is the only connection left for the H7 Csepel HÉV with the main railway, and through it with the other HÉV lines. This was not always the case, as there was a Ferencváros - Csepel HÉV rail connection until 2006 (most recently connected at the Lágymányosi Bridge), and even earlier there was a direct connection from Soroksári út station due to the Danube freight station that existed until 1992. However, all this is now a thing of the past and this is the only connection left, which is in a very terrible condition today. The applicable speed on the entire line is 10km/h, but the aforementioned bridge structure is in such a terrible condition that it will soon not even be possible to maintain 5km/h on it. So the bridge is living its last days, the design of the new bridge is nowhere to be seen (so good Hungarian), there is no solution in sight, and no one can predict what will happen if no one agrees to allow rail traffic on it! And that time is already dangerously close! That is why I definitely thought it was worth making a few scenes about this structure while this important railway connection is still in operation. Then....something will happen! :-( BecsVision 2024 SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!! This is a FULL HD 1080p video. It is worth setting the quality in the gear wheel!! If you would like to support my work and the digitization of old 8mm silent films: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/Becsk... Winyós and external boxes are always needed, storing videos in good quality and in duplicate requires a lot of storage space! This is such a bike. Thanks: Becs
