On November 25, 2019, two men broke into the Historic Green Vault in Dresden through a window. The perpetrators used axes to smash the display cases in the jewelry room and ripped out 21 pieces of jewelry. Clan crime straight out of a textbook. The five members of the Remmo clan plundered Saxony's treasury and two of them committed arson. The Dresden Regional Court imposed rather mild sentences based on a deal. 18 pieces of jewelry were returned and confessions were made. Such a trial agreement between the accused, the public prosecutor and the court has never been reached before with the Remmo clan - a small sensation and a controversial matter. Exclusive: Rabieh Remo's defense attorneys are speaking out about the case for the first time. You can find out how the return of the jewels went in the MDR interview.
