[2019 Palil-1] Lee Hyun-sook - Kang Seon-yeongryu Taepyeongmu - The dance performance 'Palil 八佾', planned based on the 'Palil' of the Analects, where 64 dancers danced in eight rows and eight columns in front of the emperor, is a dance epic in which eight dancers present different genres of traditional dance for a total of eight days, and is the representative traditional dance performance of the Korea Cultural Center. Since its first performance in 2009, over 300 dancers have performed on the stage of the Korea Cultural Center, becoming a true historian recording the present of Korean traditional dance. - Cast - Lee Hyun-sook (Inheritor of Jongmyo Jeryeak Ilmu, National Intangible Cultural Property No. 1) - Kang Seon-yeongryu Taepyeongmu - This dance, which is decorated in a form that prays for a good harvest and an era of peace for the country, is based on the unique shamanic rhythm of Wangsimni Danggut.
