COURSE DESIGNING YOUR DREAM: https://planarqcampos.com.br/ Would you like TIPS TO SAVE MONEY ON CONSTRUCTION? In today's video I will show you 20 TIPS TO SAVE MONEY ON CONSTRUCTION THAT I WOULD USE IN MY HOME. I know that building and renovating are very challenging and expensive things, and that is why I want to share strategies that I WOULD USE to save money on the construction of my home to help you better evaluate. Remember that this is a video of my opinion, there is no best choice, there are those decisions that fit better into my routine and my taste, okay? TIP 1 – CHOOSING THE LAND – I would avoid very steep land, with a slope or incline, as they are generally more expensive to build, have earth movement, retaining walls, and can have a deeper foundation; TIP 2 – SINGLE STORY HOUSE – A single story house usually has a less robust and lighter foundation and this implies a less robust and cheaper foundation, I could even choose another construction method to have lower costs in the structure loads as well, such as ecological brick, EPS (styrofoam house! ICF, cellular concrete and structural wall; TIP 3 – HOUSE WITHOUT SLAB – It would also make the house lighter, I would use sandwich tiles to have good thermal and acoustic comfort, and I would use a plaster ceiling; TIP 4 – VENTILATION AND NATURAL LIGHTING – Use windows in the correct facades, avoid glass in the facades that heat the house too much, make a skylight or winter garden to make the house well lit and ventilated to save on the electricity bill; TIP 5 – INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTS – With fewer walls we have much more savings, not to mention that it allows air circulation and lighting to enter throughout the house; TIP 6 – STONES – I would use as little as possible, with same flooring throughout the house, I would avoid thresholds, but I would use it on windowsills, I would avoid it in bathroom niches, counter skirts, kitchen counter fronts and on the drip tray of the parapet; TIP 7 – COUNTERTOP – I would use a light-colored granite countertop, but I could also use a concrete or burnt cement countertop, or even a wooden countertop; TIP 8 – KITCHEN AND BATHROOM WITHOUT TILES – I would only put coverings above the kitchen countertop and inside the shower, the other walls would be painted; TIP 9 – PLASTER PLASTER – I would use plaster plaster, or smooth plaster directly on the masonry; TIP 10 – SIMPLE COVERINGS – I would look for simpler ceramic or porcelain flooring, but preferably rectified flooring in satin; TIP 11 – SKIRTING BOARD OF THE SAME FLOOR – Buy 15% more flooring to make the skirting board of the same material, it is cheaper than polystyrene skirting board; TIP 12 – MODULAR FURNITURE – They are cheaper than custom furniture and are easy to move to another location; TIP 13 – MINIMALISM – Using the minimalist style is to focus on what is essential and most important to be functional; TIP 14 – FAUCETS – I would use stainless steel faucets and metals instead of gold or rose gold; TIP 15 – PLASTERBOARD LINING – Using plasterboard is cheaper than plasterboard; TIP 16 – BATHROOM ACCESSORIES – Buying ready-made accessory kits is much cheaper than buying item by item; TIP 17 – WHITE APPLIANCES – They are cheaper than black and stainless steel models, avoid built-in appliances too; TIP 18 – POOL – I would leave the leisure area or gourmet area for a second moment, finishing the house would be my priority; TIP 19 – TEXTURE ON THE FACADE – They are much more durable than paint, and they also protect against humidity; TIP 20 – USE THE ABC CURVE – It allows us to separate the most expensive and cheapest items in a project to decide where we can make the biggest savings in our strategy.
