Kayakers and fishermen Titó (@CAIAQUEIROPESCADOR) and @AndersonGuedes set off for a 2-day kayaking trip down the Buiuçu River in the state of Amazonas. Aboard two Tuna 115 kayaks, provided by our partner, @Hidro2Eko, the adventurers face the long journey to its mouth on the Aripuanã River. The detail is that the fishermen were going to camp in the forest during the journey, in one of the most untouched regions of our country. The explorers found their camp 45 minutes into the second half. The place is completely uninhabited and far from civilization. Finding a safe place is not easy, but in the end, everything worked out. They found an excellent place to spend the night, listening to the sounds of forest animals. They ate peacock bass sashimi and slept in hammocks in the middle of the forest. Early in the evening, a jaguar was prowling around the camp, its roars echoing in the forest. Anderson Guedes quickly lit a fire to signal it. Despite the scare, nothing happened during the night. They slept like angels, wary but peaceful. They woke up early, had a good breakfast, dismantled the camp in the forest, loaded their kayaks and continued on their journey. The two fishermen still had a long stretch of uninhabited river to travel, and they didn't know exactly how far they had left to go before their journey was over. They wasted no time and left early from the hotel in the Amazon rainforest. They continued fishing and enjoying this trip that will undoubtedly remain in the memories of the two adventurers.
