Since the Nohabs ran passenger trains to Budapest according to the schedule until 1996.06.01 (that was when the schedule change took place), and two Nohabs trains only ran on Fridays due to the afternoon relief trains (then there were two of them), so 1996.05.31. was the last time such a thing could be filmed. Train number 9715 featured in the film was forwarded by the M61-013 + M61-019 duo, whose journey we followed from Révfülöp to Budapest, first from the rear (M61-019) and then from Székesfehérvár from the front (M61-013) driver's cab. Not only the Nohabos trains, but also the then 30a line are now a thing of the past, but in this film we can follow what this main railway line looked like at the time, without claiming to be complete (because the camera battery would not have been able to handle that much). On the way down, our train was pulled by the M61-004, but unfortunately they did not allow it to go up, but in Balatonfüred we can clearly see the penultimate 2 Nohabos trains (9725), pulled by the M61-014 + M61-002. These two locomotives are captured at the end of the film as they start from Déli at the head of the trains S19706 and 9716. Fortunately, this recording was preserved on the original VHSc cassette, so it could be digitized in significantly better quality. Here too, I must thank István Német for the idea, and for his stubborn and selfless work in implementing it. Without him, this film would either not exist at all, or would exist in a completely different (more modest) way! BecsVision 1996 SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!! I have uploaded this video interpolated to 1080p based on your suggestions. If you would like to support my work and the digitization of old 8mm silent films: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/Becsk... Winyoks and external boxes are always needed, storing videos in good quality and in duplicate requires a lot of storage space! This is such a bike. Thanks: Becs
