Rats & Star May 13, 1990 Akita City Cultural Hall Among RATS fans, this concert in Akita was said to be a legendary live performance. There were almost no performances with members including Masashi Tashiro, so with Masami's participation, it was a very precious concert. At that time in May 1990, Suzuki Masami released her third album, Epic, Miss Mamm (January 21, 1990), and Suzuki Masayuki was about to release the single Private Hotel (June 21, 1990). Tashiro Masashi was in the midst of his big break with Shimura Ken's Daijobudaa, and his schedule was getting increasingly busy with his popularity as he appeared on TV shows and hosted, but Rats & Star's activities were roughly on hiatus and disbanded. The last recording as Rats & Star was the single "TAXI" in November 1987, and the 18th/1990-1991 was their last appearance at the New Year's Eve New Year Rock Festival, organized by Uchida Yuya, which they had participated in continuously since the Chanels. In 1996, the Year of the Rat, the members reunited and released "Yume de Aetara" produced by Otaki Eiichi, and then went on a national tour, and in the same year, they made their first appearance at the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen with the same song. After that, the band was dissolved due to repeated scandals, including the "Mini ni Octopus ga Deru" incident in 2000 by Tashiro Masashi. However, it is not a disbandment, and it is a faint hope that one day the deep bond of the RATS spirit will allow the original 10 members to perform together.
