In 2014, the first German long-distance railway between Leipzig and Dresden turned 175 years old. The route has been constantly modernized since reunification and is to be approved for 200 km/h by 2025. The anniversary is being celebrated with a week of festivals in the Dresden Transport Museum and in the Altstadt depot. The highlight is a parallel journey over the Tharandt ramp with 18 201 and 52 8079. Enjoy watching. More here: https://www.ekshop.de/dvd-cd/dvd/stol...
