The other day I saw a post by this dear João Camarero playing TRISTEZA DO JECA (Angelino de Oliveira), an absolute classic of country music, so beautifully. On this day, especially, I was (and am) touched by the fact that our lives are opening up with going out, work, children at school (this for those who, like me, had the privilege of being able to be more secluded during the pandemic). In my case, I was not only secluded, but also in the countryside (compared to my history of living in an apartment in São Paulo). Watching João playing this song was like picking me up and placing me in the lap of the thing that has taken care of me for the past year and a half. Slowing down, being able to look at the cycle of things around me, realizing what REALLY matters and understanding that, little by little, returning to what my life was like before, I do not intend to, nor do I want to stop looking at what I have learned in these twisted times that, in short, were: the chaos of the absurdity outside the door and the change of many scales of importance inside the door. I do not know the size of the new internal scale that will be built from now on (because, PEOPLE, we are still living through the pandemic), but I understood, watching João's video, that this internal (and external) encounter with life now lives inside me. So, I invited João to do this very country Ô DE CASAS and he, generous and careful, played it beautifully!!! Dear João, thank you very much!!!!! Watching your video was a great gift and now being with you is a greater gift. 🌺🌱 Big kiss!!! 🏠🏡🏠🏡 #takecareofyourself #wearamask #vaccinateforeveryone #vaccinatenow #ifyoucanstayhome @joaocamarero #_ô_de_casas
