Although some people have taken selfies with members of the royal family in the background, Queen Elizabeth herself has never volunteered to take selfies. Although she has ordered the same style of shoes from the same company for years, the queen still needs someone to make her shoes comfortable first. Grocery stores are not something that is often associated with royalty; therefore, members of the royal family are not supposed to buy their own food. In her youth, during hard times, the future queen worked as a truck driver and a military mechanic. She met Prince Philip when they were still children. But Princess Elizabeth fell in love with her future husband a few years later, at the age of 13, after they met on a tennis court. There was a chef whose job was to make sumptuous meals for the royal dogs. By law, the Queen can vote in any election or referendum. Her Majesty has chosen not to take part. She does not have to prove her identity to immigration officials or show any travel documents. Every year during the holiday season, the royal family travels to the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk to celebrate Christmas there. The Queen’s real birthday is April 21, but it is officially celebrated on the second Saturday in June. People who know the Queen say that she is very disciplined, and thanks to this character trait, she stays healthy and in good physical shape.
