Open Chair Orlando Fals Borda (CAOF) - Regional - ZCSUR. Research groups have been key spaces in the development of research experiences within academic institutions. These groups, made up of students, teachers and sometimes external researchers, allow the active participation of young people in scientific projects from the early stages of their training. Through these experiences, students have the opportunity to learn to manage research methodologies, generate questions of interest, analyze data and present their findings. In addition, they foster teamwork and leadership skills, since members must collaborate closely to achieve project objectives, which provides them with a practical view of scientific and academic processes.
