The Russian Metrowagonmash trains were still in circulation on the M2 line, but some of them have already been stopped by higher orders. (After the M3 metro fire on 19/04/2011, the mayor ordered the withdrawal of trains older than 40 years from service, even though the Árpád bridge did not catch fire like this) In addition, among them were the renovated EV/s, more commonly known as the Barbs. As a result, there was a huge shortage of vehicles on the M2 east-west subway. Six 81-71 and two Ev3 assemblies were SOS reassigned from M3. Well, that was reason enough for me to devote two afternoons to it and have the camera roll on the East-West subway line. This is the result of the second day when I filmed at Pillangó utca to the great delight of the subway people! :-) And at the end, as an encore, an S91 test midibus on line 16A at Széll Kálmán tér. Unfortunately, nothing came of that project either, even though it was a really nice little car. :-( BecsVision 2011 SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!
