In this video I share with you a tutorial to make painted fabric backgrounds inspired by the work of the great Sarah Oliphant, creator of the backgrounds used by none other than Annie Leibovitz and many other famous portrait artists as well as photographers and fashion magazines around the world. If you want to know more about Sarah Oliphant's work visit her website: http://www.oliphantstudio.com The process is cheap and very simple but requires patience and few materials, I used leftover water-based vinyl-acrylic paint that I had from previous projects. If you live in Mexico or the United States, I recommend visiting a Comex store, as they have a wide variety of colors that can surely help you have unique and very personalized backgrounds for your photo sessions. If you are a portrait photographer, having incredible backgrounds will help you sell your services better. I hope you like the video and help me share it.
