In this video from our tutorial series, we look at the practical installation of electrical components in the van. For my Ford Transit L4H3, I designed a space for all of the electrics under the seat in the cargo area. This has plenty of space for batteries, battery computers (smart shunts), MPPT charge controllers, inverters and charge boosters. I'll also show you how the individual components are wired together, how to equip a cable with cable lugs, and which circuit breakers I've installed. Enjoy the video ✌️ ⚡⚡⚡ Caution ⚡⚡⚡ I'm not an electrician and am simply presenting my system here. All information and opinions given here are my personal ones and I accept no liability for their accuracy. Electrics are not something to be taken lightly.
