The work is still going on at full speed, despite the fact that, as far as I know, the environmental protection permit for the investment has been revoked for the third time. While the project itself is one of the most important and largest railway investments in Budapest in the last 50 years, its legal background is beginning to resemble a poorly written comedy. Fortunately, as you can see in the film, the work is progressing for the time being, and with the construction of the retaining walls, it has reached a rather spectacular stage. I have a lot of previous films about this part, I linked them during the video, you can see how much they have progressed in the last more than half a year. We are still traveling along the original tracks, but huge works are already taking place on both sides of the railway, making the film quite spectacular, and the window of the Romanian car on the way back wasn't so horribly dirty either, so hopefully everyone can see where this gigantic reconstruction is going.
