Hello everyone! Today I'm taking you to an abandoned car graveyard, where there are around 1000 vintage cars. In 1955, the Ivansson brothers opened a workshop here where they repaired all kinds of cars, mainly Swedish, German and English brands. In neighboring Norway, on the other hand, there were hardly any private cars at the time, and the import of cars was also prohibited. But the brothers had discovered a loophole in the law: there was no ban on importing individual parts, and it was also not forbidden to put a car back together after crossing the border in Norway. So the Ivanssons dismantled the vehicles in Sweden, reassembled them in Norway and earned a good extra income. They also sold many cars to people who wanted to restore them. It was a good business, and so after a while there were many cars around the house and workshop that were either still being sold or were being used as spare parts for other vehicles.
