Monday lesson from 1 to Corinthians 2 letter [2] 9, on 04/11/2024, speaker Sotiris Stergios ----------------------- -------------------- Excerpts from the Bible: 1 Corinthians 2 [2] 6-13 6) We speak of wisdom among the perfect, but wisdom not of the age of this, nor of the rulers of this age, of the decayed ones; 7) but we speak the mysterious wisdom of God, the hidden one, which God predestined before the ages for our glory, 8) which none of the rulers of this age knew; for if they wanted know, they would not crucify the Lord of glory; 9) but as it is written, Those which eye has not seen and ear has not heard and have not entered into the heart of man, which God has prepared for those who love him. 10) And to us God revealed these things through his Spirit, because the Spirit searches all things and the depths of God. 11) Because the things of men know the things of man, is the spirit of man in him? Even the things of God no one knows but the Spirit of God. 12) But we do not receive the spirit of the world, but the spirit from God, so that we may know the things that God has given us. 13) Which we speak not with the teaching words of human wisdom, but with the teachings of the Holy Spirit, comparing the spiritual with the spiritual. Gen. 21:19 19) And God opened her eyes, and she saw a fountain of water, she went down and filled the bag with water and watered the child. How unsearchable are his judgments and unsearchable are his ways. 34) Because the mind of the Lord recognized them? or did she become his advisor? 35) or did he give them to him first, so that they might be repaid to him? 36) Because from him and through him and to him are all things. To him, glory forever. Amen. --------------------------------------------- Amen
