In 2019, the brothers Joakim and Jimmie Öbom built a campervan. It was to be used as a means of transport to and from Spain by Jimmie and his wife. The idea was for it to be as flexible as possible. Standing height was therefore removed, but it would still have 2 sleeping places, kitchen, toilet, TV and stereo. It was also important that it should run quietly and quickly on motorways and in cities. It would be well insulated against cold/heat. Of course, we had limitations in time and budget, so we opted out of windows and skylights. Last but not least, we were beginners in the subject of building our own mobile home, although Jocke built stereos in many vehicles and trucks and Jimmie worked for a long time with mobile homes and caravans. The construction was photographed and described in the magazine Husbil & Husvagn 2020 in NR 2,3,4,5 and these films are compiled from photos taken for the report. Unfortunately, we filmed very little, but we still chose to cut together some of the photo material that was in stock. In addition to the construction itself, there is also a film with the finished minicamper as well as a film where Jimmie meets the new owners who have used this campervan for 3 years. They live the vanlife properly and have spent 50 nights and driven approx. 2,500 miles in this Vivaro.
