In 2012, the HSB celebrated its anniversary with several themed weekends. On June 9, 2012, a bogie train traveled to Wernigerode Hassedrode. 01 0509-8 probably came to Wernigerode for this reason and took its train to Bad Harzburg for storage. Regular service continued on the HSB. It is clear that many visitors came to an event like this. It is therefore unavoidable that people can be seen on the sidelines in some places.
