Taking advantage of visiting family, we went on a trip to the castle in Chęciny. The aim was to show children a real castle, so that they would know that castles are still standing, are our cultural and historical value, and not just an element of fairy tales about princesses and unicorns... We headed for the castle in Chęciny, located on the top of a mountain as befits a real castle. To get there, you had to climb on your own feet to the very top, overcome more or less steep elevations and various stairs that do not necessarily meet European Union standards, but after all, these are our Polish steps to a Polish castle. We saw a royal castle from the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, and what it was like and what happened, you will see in the film... Visiting the castle in Chęciny is a good idea for a weekend trip with the family to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. For us, the sightseeing with the drive took up the time between breakfast and lunch.
